On November 22, 2024, the second meeting of the Leading Group for the Construction and Prevention of Major Risks in Ping'an Kaizhou of the District Committee was held to thoroughly study and implement the important instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the case of driving and colliding with pedestrians in Zhuhai, Guangdong, comprehensively implement the spirit of relevant meetings in the city, listen to recent reports on safety and stability in the whole district, and study and deploy the construction and prevention of major risks in Ping'an Kaizhou of the District Committee.

The meeting fully affirmed the achievements made in the construction of Ping'an Kaizhou and the prevention and resolution of major risks since the beginning of this year. The meeting emphasized that it is currently the end of the year, with various security and stability risks intertwined and overlapping. It is necessary to grasp and detail various security and stability work, and effectively use the high score report of safe construction to accelerate the construction of the "one pole, two major areas, and three zones" modern new Kaizhou. To grasp the initiative of timely and dynamic discovery of problems, continuously deepen digital empowerment, solidly carry out large-scale investigation and resolution of conflicts and disputes, classify and control various risks and hidden dangers, and ensure early detection, prevention, and disposal. We need to take precise, pragmatic, and effective measures, strengthen education and stability control for key populations, enhance overall social security prevention and control, establish a regular patrol and prevention system for densely populated areas, further improve emergency response mechanisms, and make every effort to ensure social harmony and stability. We need to enhance the execution ability of the combination of departments and blocks, firmly establish the concept of "one game", improve the working mechanism of consultation meetings, contact guidance, and request reporting, and promote the formation of a work pattern of coordinating departments and blocks, vertical and horizontal linkage, and joint management.
